I am a Biochemist by profession. During the development of my undergraduate thesis, I decided to dedicate my career to research in Neurosciences, for which I did the Doctorate in Neuroscience. I worked with electrophysiological techniques on mouse brain slices in my doctoral thesis. My area of interest is the study of the neural mechanisms that underlie the connectivity between the different regions of the brain and determine how it changes in the face of other contexts such as aging and neuropsychiatric diseases.
